Whether it's on the front lines or within urban environments, our mission is to provide advanced mobility, survivability, and security across every scenario.
From heavy tactical vehicles that redefine mission-critical logistics and combat support, to highly specialized armored platforms for VIPs, dignitaries, and government officials, MEGA delivers cutting-edge solutions that blend ballistic protection with refined engineering and technology. Each vehicle is meticulously crafted with advanced armoring systems, blast mitigation features, AI-enhanced situational awareness, and discreet design elements tailored for secure transport in high-risk environments.
With every armored vehicle we build, we reinforce MEGA’s commitment to those who serve and those who lead—ensuring their safety, confidence, and operational superiority in an ever-changing world.
Armor Specification
-
While Mega Engineering Ballistics Chart incorporates as much lightweight armor as possible, high-hardened ballistic steel is still applicable in certain areas of the vehicle.
All steel incorporated into the armoring process is milled using a special chemical composition that ensures ballistic integrity and maximizes Brinell hardness.
Mega constantly striving to upgrade our technology to provide better protection and quality while adding as little weight as possible to the vehicle. Mega works closely with industry giants on new armoring technologies.
The European standards EN 1522 / EN 1063 specified 7 levels of protection: B1 to B7.
The most popular protection class for civil vehicles –
B6 became VPAM 7 and another widespread protection class – B7 – became VPAM 9.
Сlass B1 and B2 are rarely used in armoring a security vehicle.
Class B2 can withstand a 9 mm,. 38 of special and lesser rounds what will lead to slowing down bullets from weapons of larger calibers.
Class B3 can withstand .357 Magnum rounds or lesser threats,
and Class B4 can withstand a.44 Magnum rounds or lesser threats.
The scale starts separating at this point.357 Magnum at 5 meters and B6 7,62 x 39 rounds from Kalashnikov rifle.
Starting from B6 which is a relatively high level of security and above the armor is designed to stop some serious threats such as threats ranging from 7.62х51 (.308) up to 30.06 AP (Armor Piercing) and Penetrator rounds. Some sedans are rated at B4 or B5 protection level which can provide adequate protection against certain threats. Usually security vehicles such as SUV’s are armored for different reasons like being a police car or ambulance and can provide a B5, B6 or B7 level of protection. For example, police type trucks are often designed to defeat .50 caliber rounds. Concerning vehicles with B5, B6, B7 level of protection – they are very resistant to explosions, for example our Aurum Security vehicles which are designed to defeat such threats as road side and suicide bombs.

Ballistics Protection
Composite materials are traditionally regarded as materials that can save energy in large structures associated with transport.
They are used to produce lightweight structures for fuel-efficient aircraft such as the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner; lightweight cars from Lotus, Ferrari and TVR; and high-speed trains, speedboats, and racing yachts.
Now, however, some of the most interesting applications of composites are those where the materials are used to save lives and protect property by absorbing the energy of projectiles, impacts, and crashes.
